A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND BY O'CORNOR

The plot summary of the story; O’Connor,s story is told by a third person narrator, but the focus is on the grandmother’s prespective of events. Eventhough she complain that she would rather go to Tennessee than Florida to vocation.

Setting which is used in the strory is firmly set in the ruler American South

The characters of the story are;

  4. Bailey (granmother’s son)

The theme of the story is an escaped convict and his companions murder a family because of series of mishap on the part of the grandmother.

The point of view of the story is limited omniscient. Because the narator as third singular person. (he/she/it).

Kind of simbolism that is used in the story is the sky at the end of the story is couldless and clear, indicating that the grandmother has died.
